BIO⎥ YUSUF TAJBAKHSH 🎻 Strings – Violin

Based in Toronto, Yusuf Tajbakhsh began playing the violin at the age of 6 and has since gone on to win numerous awards in several competitions, including the Canadian Music Competition, International Mozart Competition Vienna, Red Maple Violin Competition, and Kiwanis Music Festival. Most recently, he was named one of three winners of the Concerto Competition of the Taylor Academy at the Royal Conservatory. Currently, he is a student at the highly regarded Phil and Eli Taylor Academy for Young Artists, where he studies under Dr. Min-Jeong Koh, and also receives private lessons from Professor Jerzy Kaplanek at Wilfrid Laurier University. In his spare time, Yusuf enjoys playing soccer and chess, as well as experimenting with new recipes.
