BIO⎥ RAIMONDO MAZZON 🎶 organ

Raimondo Mazzon is a 21-year-old Italian musician who has studied piano, organ, and harpsichord in Venice and Padua. At the age of 14, he continued his studies in Milan, Mozarteum Salzburg, Accademia pianistica di Imola, and Accademia Chigiana Siena. Currently, he is pursuing his musical career at the University of Vienna. At the age of 10, he made his debut as a pianist for the "Today a Talent, Tomorrow an Artist" event at Mozarteum Salzburg, and at 12 years old, he played as an organist in the "Grosse Saal" for the opening of the Salzburg summer festival. He has been described as a "first-rate virtuoso" by critics and has participated in musical seasons throughout Europe. Raimondo recorded his first CD, "Organ Wars," when he was 17, followed by the complete recording of A. Vivaldi's Op.2 sonatas. He has won numerous awards, including the best organist at "Svirel" 2017, "IMC" 2022 (Paris), and Euterpe Award 2023 (Berlin). Among his non-organ first prizes, he won "Wanda Landowska" and "ILMAestate Musica Antica" (2019, harpsichord) and "Città di Venezia" (2017, piano). Currently, Raimondo is studying orchestral conducting at the Accademia di Imola with M. Boni and at the Vienna Opera Academy with T. Purser. He has directed orchestras such as the "Orchestra Senzaspine" (Imola Summer Festival) and the "Vienna Sinfonia" (Vienna Musikverein).
