BIO⎥ MAO FUJISAKI 🎹 Piano
Hailing from Shimane, Japan, Mao Fujisaki began her piano studies at three-years-old. She has since honed her skills and participated in the Ibaraki International Music Academy in Kasama. As a student of the Tokyo Geidai Junior Academy, a special program for early gifted education established by the Tokyo University of the Arts, she graduated with distinction.
Mao Fujisaki's solo performances have included collaborations with the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra Tokyo and London City Philharmonic. Additionally, she has earned multiple national and international accolades, including the London International Concerto Competition in 2022 where she won the Piano Soloist category, the WPTA Singapore International Piano Competition in 2022 where she was awarded Platinum and Best Romantic Music, the Vienna New Year's Concert International Music Competition in 2022 where she received the Young Talent Award, and the All Japan Junior Classical Music Competition in 2021 where she earned second place, the highest prize.
Currently, Mao is pursuing her studies at the Music High School Attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts.
