BIO⎥ LYAM CHENAUX 🎻 Strings – Cello
At the age of 5, Lyam Chenaux began studying the cello with G. Leclerc at the Conservatoire de Lausanne, and later continued his studies with E. Goffart. Since 2021, he has been studying at the Zakhar Bron School in Zurich with Denis Severin.
Since then, Lyam has won several dozen national and international competitions with honors. At the age of 10, he performed for the first time as a soloist with the Budweis Philharmonic Orchestra at the SOMAK International Academy in Biel, Switzerland. He has since performed as a soloist with the Yverdon Orchestra in 2021 and the UniArt Orchestra in Paris in 2022.
Lyam has participated in masterclasses with numerous prestigious teachers including Wen-Sinn Yang at the prestigious Rutesheim Cello Akademie in Germany. Despite his very young age, he was selected to play at the final concert of the Akademie.
In addition, Lyam played with the "Ministrings" of the Lausanne Conservatory for four years. Since the end of 2022, he has joined the virtuoso group "LGT Young Soloists" and has the opportunity to perform with this ensemble on stages around the world.
