BIO⎥ LUCIA WARREN 🎻 Strings – Violin

Canadian-born violinist Lucia Warren began studying the violin at the age of seven. Over the years, she has trained with several prominent Canadian violinists, including Violaine Melançon, Erika Raum, Marie Bérard, Annalee Patipatanakoon, and Bénédicte Lauzière. Lucia completed her Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance at the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Performance at McGill University in Montreal. Lucia has participated in several Canadian summer music festivals, including the National Youth Orchestra of Canada (in 2020, 2021, and 2022), Domaine Forget (in 2018, 2019, and 2021), Orford Musique (in 2017), and Wilfrid Laurier University's Quartetfest (in 2018). In spring 2022, Lucia was a semifinalist in the Classicalia Global Televised Music Competition. Additionally, in April 2016, Lucia was the winner of her youth orchestra's concerto competition, where she performed Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E Minor. In November 2019, Lucia also performed as a soloist with the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Orchestra, playing Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major.
