BIO⎥ KIARA MORISHITA-LEE 🎶 Winds – Flute
Kiara Morishita-Lee is a flutist based in Sydney, Australia. She recently performed at the Amphitheater Cite de la Musique-Philharmonie de Paris as part of the winner's concert after achieving First Place in the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition. Kiara has also earned the top spot in The Young Flute Player International Championship 2022, the International BTHVN WienCompetition, and the Medici International Music Competition.
Kiara's love of music started at an early age, learning the violin at just two years old and the flute at four. She is currently a student of Jocelyn Fazzone, a renowned teacher at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Kiara has won several local music competitions and awards and has also been recognized with solo performances at the Sydney Opera House.
In addition to the flute and violin, Kiara loves performing with the Australian Girls Choir, has a passion for dance and ballet, and is a member of her school's bands and ensembles. Kiara is also an award-winning artist and writer.
When she's not playing music, Kiara enjoys spending time with her parents, brother, grandma, and pet guinea pig.
