BIO⎥ JESSICA JUNG 🎹 Piano
Jessica began studying piano at the age of 4 and has since become a seasoned pianist. She received her Associate Diploma (ARCT Piano) with First Class Honours with Distinction under the tutelage of Dr. Michael Esch at the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2022.
Jessica thrives on challenging herself and has participated in various music festivals and competitions, earning numerous awards and scholarships. Her accolades include a first-place win at the 2017 Crescendo International Music Competition and a performance at Carnegie Hall's Winner's Recital. In addition, she was a finalist at the Canadian Music Competitions in both 2018 and 2019. Jessica has also been recognized internationally, winning second prize at the 8th GOCAA International Piano Competition in 2021. She received a scholarship from the Toronto Kiwanis Festival and represented them at the Ontario Music Festivals Association provincial competition in 2022, earning third prize and a Distinguished Performance Award in the Final Round for the Professional Artist Category at the 2022 IPPA Conero International Piano Competition. Most recently, she placed second at the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition in 2023.
