YURO LEE 🎻 violinist
BIO
Australian violinist Yuro Lee started violin at age seven, studying over the years with Judy Yang, Kerry Smith and currently Spiros Rantos. She will begin studying at the Queensland Conservatorium this year. While attending St Peters Lutheran College she had many opportunities to perform as a soloist with piano and orchestra. She appreciates the bright tone of the violin that makes it stand out from other instruments and enjoys the challenge of developing her technique to highlight the beauty of the instrument. She looks up to violinists including Sarah Chang, Bomsori Kim and Leonidas Kavakos and studies their performances online to learn from them, incorporating their ideas and expression into her own music. Yuro enjoys listening to music that conveys a deep and emotional message to its audience. Aside from listening to music, Yuro enjoys pop music, watching movies and spending time with her family and friends.
