American pianist Tomi Vetter is a Double Master’s student at Oklahoma City University in Piano Performance and Music Composition. She has been composing since the age of six and has a lifelong passion for the piano, sparked by her family that encouraged it. With initial teaching by her grandmother, aunt, and sister, she considers music one of the gifts that she can use to help those around her. Tomi plans to pursue her doctorate degree after her Master’s, and is currently a private music teacher to more than 35 students, aged 4-66. She also teaches a group piano class for John Rex Charter School in Oklahoma. Tomi has won awards throughout her career in piano and has had the wonderful opportunity to travel for performances as well. She is an ambitious pianist eager to push past boundaries and continue to achieve.
