BIO
Canadian violinist Lucia Warren has studied at international music festivals, including Domiane Forget and Orford Musique, and was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. She has been a featured soloist with the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Orchestra, and won its youth orchestra’s Concerto Competition with a performance of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. Lucia travelled to the Netherlands and Belgium with the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Orchestra, and in 2019 was a member of the Westben Festival Orchestra, playing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. She is the recipient of multiple awards and scholarships through the Guelph Kiwanis Music Festival, and was selected as a Provincial finalist twice. Lucia has performed in masterclasses with Vadim Gluzman and Olivier Charlier, and received the Mamie May Memorial Scholarship while studying at the University of Toronto. Lucia regularly performs outreach concerts with her parents in hospitals and retirement homes.
