Austrian pianist Celina Höferlin started studying music at five and began at Dr. Hoch’s Conservatory – Music Academy Frankfurt at age six. Since then, she has been a frequent prize winner of competitions including the Steinway Piano Competition in Hamburg, Henle Piano Competition, Münchner Klavierpodium, International Feurich Competition with the invitation to the Clavis Piano Festival St Petersburg, International Grotrian-Steinweg Piano Competition with a special prize by Braunschweigische Louis Spohr Gesellschaft, and International Piano Competition Frederic Chopin in Bacau with highest scores. She has performed at Gläserner Saal in Vienna’s Musikverein, at Laeiszhalle Hamburg, at the Staatstheater Braunschweig, at Carnegie Hall in New York, and at Kammermusiksaal in the Berliner Philharmonie. She is currently a pre-college student with Andreas Weber at the Mozarteum. Besides piano, Celina loves playing flute, painting, reading, doing handicrafts, and going to operas.
