BIO⎥ ANTIAN JIANG 🎹 Piano
Antian Jiang is a 16-year-old pianist from Ontario, Canada who has achieved significant success in her musical career. She holds the Licentiate Diploma (LRCM) with Distinction from the Royal Conservatory of Music, becoming the youngest person ever to achieve this feat in the institution's 130-year history at the age of 10. She also earned the ARCT Diploma at the age of 9, making her the second-youngest person in RCM history to do so.
Antian has studied under U of T Applied Faculty, Dr. Michael Esch, and has performed at esteemed venues such as Carnegie Hall and Steinway Hall in New York, NEC at Boston, Boston Conservatory, and the Royal Conservatory of Music. She has also made her orchestral debut at Markham Theatre.
Antian's recent accomplishments include winning the laureates and first prize in the Sound Espressivo Globe competition (Livestream), the 21st-century-talents-North America competition, the Franz Liszt Center International piano competition (Europe), the Young Euregio Piano award (Germany), and the Małopolska International Music Competition (Poland). Additionally, she earned a full scholarship to the Morningside Music Bridge program at NEC (Boston) in 2019 and was recognized with the "2019 Excellence in Music Award" from the City of Markham.
Antian is also a student in the TOPS program, a STEM-focused program, and has won several international math and science contests.
